Always and Forever

If I had been thinking ahead, I would have said "ALWAYS AND FUREVER."
Nope, I'm always a day late and a dollar short, lol! It's already printed, colored and mailed. Maybe next time.
That's okay, though, it's still a sweet image to use for an anniversary, Valentine's Day, birthday, even a "Thinking of You" card for your BFF. I love Sherry West Art images - there is always more than one occasion you can find to use each and every one.
I am not sure what Sherry has named this image, but I am sure if you want to purchase it, she can find it. I call it Cat Love. You can find Sherry West Art on Facebook.
I used the image for my sister and brother-in-law's anniversary card. My sister is a HUGE cat lady! I colored it with copic markers, using a lot of the blue-green colors because that is her favorite color. The image is the focal point, popped up on foam. I used some pretty gems in the corners and added ribbon at two edges. I hand cut the background paper in a gentle slope and separated it to show the blue-green cardstock beneath.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

B Is For Bunny

Easter is approaching and I am not finished with my Easter cards, lol! Sherry West Art has a super-cute image for you to color and pop on a card very easily, B is for Bunny. I used copic markers to color the image and then my colorless blender to soften the color a little bit. Brightly colored bows, pretty cardstock and ribbon and it's DONE!

You could even use this image for a Mother's Day card. It is just SO SWEET!
I hope you have a Blessed Easter!

Valentine's Snow Friends

Challenge yourself! It doesn't have to be a BIG challenge, just something small. Like....use a non-traditional image for a holiday, maybe. I thought I would try that, so I used a snowman for a Valentine's card. The image is Snow Friends from Sherry West Art on Etsy.
No, I didn't color the snowman in red, not even the scarf, hat or bird. All of that is in blues and greens, but the background? Now, that is RED, lol! I colored the image with Copic markers and fussy cut it out, including the ground. For the background, I used a red vellum and alternated a silver washi tape and glittery, mesh-type of ribbon. The next little challenge was - what could be a Valentine's sentiment coming from a snowman??? After looking at it for a couple of days, a sentiment popped into my head - Whew! I cut a little tag and wrote the sentiment with my Silhouette Cameo 4 and added a couple of ribbons to the top. Both the sentiment and snowman are popped up on foam dots.

Blues B28, B24, B23, B000
Greens G28, G05, YG03

So try it - a little challenge. You never know what you might accomplish!
Have a wonderful day and a Happy Valentine's Day!

having one of THOSE days?

Ever have one of those days where you drop everything, you bump into stuff, things don't go the way you planned, and you just want to NOT adult today? The thing is, it helps if someone, anyone, understands, right? So, I made a card for one of those days using a perfect image from Sherry West Art. This particular Flocker is not on her Etsy site, but if you contact Sherry West through Etsy or her Facebook page, she will be happy to sell it to you. And this image can be used for SO many occasions with SO many different sentiments!
I colored the image with Copic markers and added some white gel pen highlights on the grass. The white cardstock behind the image is a textured cardstock and I inked an embossing folder to add the line pattern. After putting it all together, I put some lavender jewels in the corners for a little embellishment since I used lavender ink for the sentiment (on my printer).

I would love to hear other sentiments you might use for this image! "It's wine-o'clock somewhere!" "You're HOW old?"
Have some FUN with it!
I hope you have some FUN in your day!
