Friend Flower Doodle

This month's Progressive Freebie Challenge at Outlawz uses the Friend Flower Doodle from Bugaboo Stamps. I printed the image on watercolor paper, made it a tag and did a wash using the Twinkling H2O Golden Opal. Then I painted the image using some of the other Twinkling H2O colors, did a final wash with a sparkle glitter spray (only I lightly painted it on). I haven't really learned to use the Twinkling H2Os in different ways, but they are so pretty and I love to paint small images with them. I put my tag on a card and added a few sequins. I hope you enjoy it!

Hockey Player

Well, our family has a little hockey player who is turning 6 in a few days, so I found the perfect image for his birthday card: Hockey Player by KennyK Stamps. My grandnephew's favorite color is red, so I made the shirt red and the contrasting color on the card is red (the mat background and the image's background layer). I've been wanting to try the starburst background and thought this image was perfect for it. I cut paper to 5 inches by 1.5 inches, then cut diagonally. I then glued them on a 5 by 5 inch square. Then on the back I measured for my card front and cut it on my paper trimmer. The starburst wasn't as hard as I thought it might be!
I colored him with Copic markers:
Skin E000, E00, E21, E11, E04
Hair and Eyes E31, E33, E35, E57
Red R32, R35, R37, R39
Black W1, W3, W5, W7
Stick Y11, Y15, Y17
I also used Wink of Stella Silver for the ice skates and trim on his hat. I hope you enjoy my card!
Aloha!
