This month's Progressive Freebie in The Outlawz Challenges is a cute image called Red String from Star Stampz. I colored the image with copic markers, used a pretty paper sack for the background paper and then some other matching paper for the corners and added a little corner bling to follow The Outlawz Challenges Wednesday Sketch Challenge. I haven't decided if I want to use it for a birthday or "just a note" card, so I didn't add a sentiment yet. Take a look and let me know what you think!

No Prob-llama Wryn
Have you heard of Tiddly Inks! She has the cutest images. I used No Prob-llama Wryn for my SIL's birthday card. The image comes with all kinds of little extras that you can use on Wryn or the Llama, even a little background image - lots of fun! I used Copic markers to color the image. On the llama, I used the E40's and they just weren't blending to look like fluffy fur. So I used my colorless blender pen and just went over the entire llama several times until it looked like I wanted. I also drew in a little connecting line between the nose and mouth. Then I colored the llama's blanket to match the background paper that I wanted to use. I added a little bow made from ribbon that has cactus images on it and a flower in the middle of that. Then I added a couple of blue-striped ribbon strips to match. Take a look and let me know what you think!

Floating Penguin
At the Outlawz Challenges this week we have been celebrating our birthday! As part of the celebration there have been games and a coloring challenge. Although I haven't had a lot of time on my hands to play the games, I did manage to do a little coloring! The image was a freebie drawn by one of our DTs, Sandra - a cute little penguin with three balloons. I colored him with Copic markers, added a little highlighting with a white colored pencil and fussy cut him out. Then I made a cloud background with Tumbled Glass Distress Ink, printed a little saying and added a rainbow from my stash. I popped up my penguin with foam pieces and Voila! I am always in need of a general card to drop a note to a friend and this seemed to fit the bill. Let me know what you think!
I hope this gives you a little smile - have a great day!

St. Patrick's Day Cards with Twistoon Digis
I have 7 nieces and nephews and 2 grandchildren that I make cards for every holiday! Luckily Lisa Cree of Twistoon has this cute Monster App you can download from the Google Play store and make all kinds of fun monsters! She also has all kinds of fun digis in her online shop. For my 7 nieces and nephews I used a few of the monsters that I made with the app, colored them with Copic markers (a green combo for St. Patrick's Day!) and then placed them on top of a clover field picture with a little speech bubble that says, "KISS ME I'M IRISH!" Inside each card I have a cute little holiday-related riddle for each of them. For my 2 grandchildren, a girl and a boy, I used other Twistoon digis, Weak At The Knees and Hey There (I could not find this one in the store, but I am sure if you ask Lisa on FB she would put the digi in her store!). I also colored these two digis with Copic markers, cut the images out and placed them on a clover field, each with a different thing in the speech bubbles. Take a look at the cards and let me know what you think.
Now go find your four-leaf clover and have a Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I Heart U Gwen
Our granddaughter just turned 22, which makes us feel OLD! She's a senior in college and will complete her master's degree within the next year. We are so very proud of her and her accomplishments, but in our hearts she is still a little girl. For her birthday I used an image from Some Odd Girl called I Heart U Gwen. Really, this image could be used for many occasions besides a birthday - thinking of you, sending my love, etc. I could not figure out how to make my Silhouette Cameo cut around the image, so I just did the best I could with my little scissors. Meanwhile I picked up the "How To Trace Your Cut File in Silhouette Studio" instructions that are free from Some Odd Girl. Hopefully I will figure it out for the next time - lol!
I used Copic markers to color the image. I added some ribbon, two tags, a doily, a little bling and the "happy" diecut to decorate my card. I apologize for the fuzzy image - I did not realize this until after our granddaughter had the card. :-( Anyway, she was very happy with her card - I hope you like it too!
Have a blessed day!

Ice Hockey
I have a great nephew (turning 9) that has been playing ice hockey since he was 3! He is a goalie and is pretty darned good at it - so good that other teams ask for him when they need a goalie. His favorite color is red, so it's really nice that his team uniform is red and black. I have many digital images from Kenny K Stamps, a now-closed online store. Currently, he is only doing Illustrations for toys, games and packaging. The image I used for my card is called Ice Hockey. I used Copic markers to color it, cut it out and used foam to make it sit up off the background. The background image is from some free digital ice hockey paper I found online. The current Outlawz Challenges challenge for "Crash Your Stash" is to use a stencil. Well, it has been a very long time since I've used any of my stencils and it took me 2 days for find them - lol!! I used two stencils from Tim Holtz - to soften the background a little - the "Rays" in red Distress Ink and "Burlap" (for a net) in brown in Distress Ink. I made the sentiment on my computer and used just a few sequins for embellishment. Take a look and let me know what you think!
Copic markers used:
Skin E000, E00, E21, E11, E04, R20
Gloves, Helmet (shadows) W1, W0
Uniform R22, R24, R29, R39, W7, W5, W3, W1, W0
Have a great day!

My Best Friend
Hi Hi! By now you have learned that there is no rhyme or reason for my posts - no regular, clockwork, every week, two weeks, month, etc. Just whenever I have time to post - it's life! There is SO MUCH going on every day and week, that it's really all about when I have a few minutes to show your something. I just finished the Outlawz Challenges monthly Progressive Freebie Challenge and thought it turned out pretty nice, so I thought I would take a few minutes to put it on display. The image this month is from All Dressed Up and is called My Best Friend. Please check out the All Dressed Up site on Etsy - the images are really sweet! I am really not a dog person and only know less than a handful of people who are, so I took the dog out of the picture along with the sentiment, "My Best Friend." I colored the image with Copic markers (still taking coloring classes at Kit and Clowder), recolored some digital paper to match (the purple gingham background), added some bling and jewel flowers and a little tag that I printed on my computer. Really not too complicated! Take a look and let me know what you think!
